We're excited to announce the return of "SCHOONER WITH A STRANGER" for 2024, following last year's success in raising over $500 for Kyneton Community House.

Inspired by Charlie's bar's viral Christmas video, this initiative aims to combat loneliness during the festive season.

Pubs are often seen as community hubs, and we want to keep that spirit alive.

Until New Year's Eve, we invite those feeling isolated or seeking new connections to join us on weekdays from 4-6pm. Your first drink, whether it's a schooner of Coopers Pale Ale/Lager, a glass of sparkles, or a soft drink, is on us!

Our friendly staff will ensure you feel welcome and can introduce you to others if you wish.

In return we would love it if you could make a small donation (which we will match) to Kyneton Community House.

This wonderful organization works tirelessly to meet their mission "To connect and empower our community" through providing a variety of programs to people of all ages and from all backgrounds.

From workshops and skills classes to social events and practical support, including food programs, childcare and more. Together, we can help KCH continue their incredible work and make a positive difference in the lives of many.
